February 26th, 2012 — Durable Garment Racks, Practical Uses for Garment Racks
Garage organization has become a recent undertaking of mine. At first it was convenient to just pile up things that I didn’t feel like dealing with. Until one day, I realized the chaos in my garage was causing more stress and headache. The biggest problem in my garage was the disorderly gardening tools. I have a lot of tools for yard maintenance and planting. They were all scattered about the garage and often in difficult to reach places. I would spend more time trying to sort through the mess to find the tool I needed than time using it! So, after tackling the bins and boxes that needed to be sorted out in the garage, I finally tackled my gardening tool mess.
garage garden tool organizer
The key to solving my problem was this awesome garage garden tool organizer that mounts to the wall. First of all, I was highly impressed by how easily it mounted to the wall. It simply hangs by grommets that are spaced perfectly for wall studs. A few screws and my new yard tool organizer was hanging up nicely and ready to be filled up! Second, this wall organizer has plenty of pockets. And the pockets range in size so I can store small hand tools and long pole tools appropriately. But best of all, are the quick release buckle straps that allow me to hang oddly shaped items, such as my rolled up extension cord.
In addition to all the little organization benefits, I really love how this garden tool organizer mounts flat against the wall, so no more floor space is used up. It looks so clean and tidy, and now I have more room to walk or store other things that can’t go on the wall. And whenever I need a tool, I don’t have to go searching around the garage or climb over stuff to get to what I need – it’s all just right there!
February 24th, 2012 — Durable Garment Racks, Garment Rack of the Month
After the holidays are over, I find myself almost overwhelmed during that post celebration and craziness come down period. But I’m quickly reminded that my favorite season is just around the corner – gardening season! Even more than that, I love pre-gardening season, when the planning begins. I start thinking about new plants that I want to introduce, furniture pieces I want to add, and start cleaning up the fall and winter rubble. Theirs is so much enjoyment for me to be found in preparing the backyard for another season.
yard tool storage rack
I own a number of gardening tools, including rakes, hoes, shovels and sprinklers. This year, I’m not only going to tend to the garden, but tend to the manner in which I organize all of my garden tools. Until now, I’ve kept them in a heap, leaning up against the wall by my back porch. But it makes my otherwise pristine landscape look very unsightly. And the tools always end up getting tangle with each other and eventually falling over when I need to get at something.
So I invested in a really great yard tool storage rack that hangs all of my tools neatly. This rack was really easy to mount to the wall, which is convenient for someone like me, who just wants to get it done fast. And I love how the hooks that hold my gardener tools slide along the metal bar. It means I can move them and configure them however I need to!
Now that I’ve gotten my yard tools organized and tidy hanging up on the wall, I can start preparing the yard and doing my clean up, without having to worry about the rake and shovels detracting from the nice look of things!
